For the 30-day-challenge, I decide to read
one or two chapters of Emma, which is written by Jane Austen, each day. I found
it’s not so hard or easy to do my work everyday. I like reading books so much
since I was in my elementary school, but I was kind of busy to continue reading
everyday. I used to read every night two years ago, before I came to America,
but my reading on English works were not enough. As a result, I found the
30-day-challenge could be a good chance for me pick up my hobby and learn about
the book.
Actually, I think it’s also good for my
English. Jane Austen’s works weren’t that easy to read; to I can improve my
English skills by reading them. Otherwise, I can learn the skills to write and
to describe people’s emotion and personality by reading her book. Even though
there are some words that I’m not familiar with, I can use dictionary to find
the definition of them. Then, I would improve the using of vocabularies.
I think reading books as the
30-day-challenge can satisfy my interest on reading the type of books I like
and improving my learning skills. I like the challenge and it’s great to finish
it.
